As a part of future plan, a zine for the project ‘The Fault Line’ (2022) was produced based on the film content and the collected physical archives like photos, as well as a bookmark and a postcard for audiences in the Ars Electonica Exhibition in Linz, Austria during Sep 6-11th, 2022.
Some important props in the film were displayed on pages independently by themselves, from their situated virual environment in the film and the actual metrail environment in the history and memories.
By doing so, it reveal another perspactive for the viewers about the meaning of single object in our life, across the time and space.
Politics, culture, religions, family and individual. Did their meanings change through time? What caused the changes? And how we as humans feel about the objects in the journey?
As an expanded practice in graphic design, I collaborated with one of my Graphic Designer friends, Kunyi Tang, who is also studying Graphic Design in UAL. Thanks to her genrous review and professional suggestions on layout and printing details, we had the chance to bring the expanded work for the exhibition in Linz, which enhanced the experience for audiences as the feedback we received.
